International Day for Disaster Reduction 2015

Every year, the 13th of October is a celebration of efforts toward the reduction of disasters worldwide. The theme this year, selected by UNISDR is "Knowledge for Life". Find below about activities from GNDR members to celebrate this day, as well as a selection from Action at the Frontline case studies to demonstrate the value of local knowledge in disaster reduction.
