Elise is responsible for managing three global projects. They are Evidence and Collaboration for Inclusive Development; Making Displacement Safer – Locally-led DRR Solutions for Displaced Populations in Urban Areas; and Local Leadership for Global Impact - reducing disaster risk through scaling out and institutionalising locally-led approaches to complex planning scenarios.
Elise has a Masters Degree in Development and Emergency Practice, and 15 years experience in strategic planning and project management across community development, humanitarian response and peacebuilding. She has previously lived in Papua New Guinea, Uganda and Sweden.
