The Conference of Youth is a gathering of people young and old that occurs every year before the COPs. This year almost 5000 young people are expected for an unprecedented mobilisation over 3 days, to build real momentum, and strengthen the visibility of actions and the expertise of young people in favour of a more sustainable and desirable lifestyle. This particular session discusses the loss and damage associated with climate change, the importance of disaster risk reduction, and a way forward for local level monitoring of risk and resilience.
