An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Coordinator to join GNDR to be responsible for coordinating fundraising activities, including the development of a fundraising strategy; developing relations with donors and peer agencies; facilitating the design and producing high quality donor submissions; support the regional team in fundraising at the regional and national level.
Candidates will be educated to degree level in a relevant international development subject. Candidates must have relevant NGO experience in the humanitarian or development sector; have experience of managing relationships and securing funding from institutional donors (e.g. DFID; USAID; EC, etc); have experience of fundraising from trusts and foundations; and have knowledge of fundraising policies and legislation relevant to the UK charity sector. Above all candidates must have experience of writing successful funding proposals and presenting budgets, financial and narrative reports. An appreciation of disaster risk reduction would be advantageous.
The role is based in the GNDR London Office and all candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
