We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in and passion for risk informed development to coordinate the work of the GNDR network in South and Central Asia with oversight of Europe. This is also an exciting time to join GNDR as we embark on our new 5 year strategy.
The Regional Coordinator is a member of the Asia Team and is responsible for all activities in the subregion, including the development, support and management of membership; knowledge management; supporting project management and fundraising; and advocacy and influencing of policy makers.
Candidates will be educated to degree level in a relevant international development subject and have a strong understanding and experience of working on disaster risk reduction, resilience, sustainable development activities. Candidates must also have experience in working with governments, institutional donors and inter-governmental bodies; experience of working in networks, umbrella organisations or coalitions; and experience in implementing capacity strengthening programmes.
The role will preferably be based in Delhi, but other capital cities within South and Central Asia that have good connections to Delhi will be considered.
