- Through our flagship Views from the Frontline project we’re working with 750 communities in 50 countries to reduce the risk of disasters.
- We’ve increased understanding across the world about how frameworks for disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and sustainable development can be integrated.
Current projects
- Our on-going advocacy work, led by member organisations, is influencing policies and practices at the local, national and global level.
- We’re working with people displaced by conflict to find locally-led, innovative solutions to reducing risk in urban areas.
- We’re establishing a women leaders mentorship programme that will enable women to share experiences and learn about gender inequality as a driver of disaster risk.

We advocate for risk-informed development and localisation. And we give local and national member organisations a voice in policy processes at both regional and global levels.
