GNDR is currently seeking an intern to provide finance-related support to the Views from the Frontline Project team. The specific focus is on the sub-grants made to participating partners, which form the major part of this project.
Formally launched on January 29th during the Regional Training Workshop in Tongatapu, the Views From the Frontline (VFL) Pilot in Tonga and the Philippines is being implemented by GNDR until July 2018 with funding from the Australian Department of Foreign Assistance and Trade (DFAT) . It will combine lessons learned from the previous runs of the VFL and Frontline.

The candidate will lead the implementation of the VFL 2019 methodology in 50 countries. The VFL Coordinator will manage, guide and monitor the process, and build the capacity of NCOs. This is a full-time position on a 3-year contract.
Views from the Frontline (VFL) 2019 is a forward-looking monitoring process that supports inclusive people-centred approaches to DRR. It is designed to support the local implementation of the Sendai Framework for DRR and other people-centred aspects of the sustainable development and climate change frameworks.

The candidate will be a national/regional recruit based in the Asia-Pacific region and lead the implementation of the VFL 2017 methodology in two pilot countries (Philippines and Tonga). The role encompasses a range of responsibilities in what is a high-profile, innovative and ground-breaking programme that will require high-level engagement between civil society, local and national governments, UN agencies and donor institutions. This is a full-time position.
