Therefore, GNDR will be running online regional debates to discuss the following questions:
- What aspects of the SFDRR are most relevant to your work in your region?
- What activities could your organisation and others in your region do towards ensuring the SFDRR and the other post-2015 frameworks build resilience at the local level?
- How could the GNDR Secretariat support members to undertake these activities?
- What implications should this have on GNDR’s post-2015 strategy? Things to think about: GNDR’s potential areas of focus and possible organisation.
The regional debates will begin on Wednesday 6th May 2015 and run until the end of the month. This will give you a chance to share your opinions, hear from others in your region, and feed into GNDR’s strategy review process.
We will be sending around the first question for discussion and we ask that you simply reply to the email with your thoughts. Your response will automatically be sent to all other participants in your region so everyone can join in the lively debate.
We hope you can join in the stimulating discussion. If you are not a member yet but would like to take part in the online regional debates, please become a member here. It is free and simple to do.
